•Provide advisory to Design and Release Engineering groups about mechanical properties, corrosion standards, dimensional features, assembly complexity and supplier location of fastening components.•Development of the procedure for performing Insertion & Extraction tests for Fasteners explaining the required equipment, the capabilities of the equipment, the setup of the test, data recording and interpretation of data.•Proposal of Fastening Part Numbers for Ram ProMaster Project in order to replace EMEA fasteners with fasteners already used in NAFTA Region with the goal of reducing import costs.•CAD Design of new tools for the Fasteners Laboratory using NX software, creation of 2D Drawings for the suppliers in order to build these new tools.•Update of ISO 9001 Quality Documents reporting advisories and tests performed by the Fasteners Engineering team, equipment inventory, calibration and maintenance services of the laboratory tools.
