About Matthew Mccall, Msw-Lcsw

I have worked in the child welfare field for my entire professional career. I consider it one of the most privileged things one can do, to help children and families find their path to happiness and success. The amazing children and families I have worked with have taught me a few important things:-The power and strength of people to not only recover from trauma, but to thrive.-Belief in the power of dedicated people to help those in need accomplish their goals and be successful.-That people need purpose, connection, and belonging. Without those, none of us would be successful in our lives.-There are no hopeless causes or unsolvable problems, just complex issues that make take time and effort to change.-Skilled workers are not born, they are trained. Though many of us have innate abilities in certain areas, we all have an edge to hone. Training, supervision, education, and experience are the stone we use to work that edge.

Listed skills include Social Services, Program Development, Nonprofits, Mental Health, and 33 others.
