I am a multi-award winning, highly-skilled, Creative Director, Designer and Creative Consultant. I have a wide range of skills in design, creative, UX, UI, advertising, branding, print, illustration & digital. I use this to provide design direction and consultancy for national & international clients.During my career, I’ve worked on both client and agency side, from award-winning start-ups to international agencies. My experience ranges from consultancy and freelance design to being a Creative Director, leading teams in London, New York, Singapore and Sydney. I have a proven track record of building, leading and mentoring award-winning teams.As an excellent advocate for design at the board level, I can align design strategy with business goals, helping organisations use and implement design in the enhancement and differentiation of their brands and products. In the past 18 years, my work has ranged from advertising campaigns for international corporations such as Microsoft, Santander, 20th Century Fox, to graphic, UX and UI design for companies such as Liveposter, Dentsu Aegis, SSE, Waitrose, Pernod Richard. I’ve also worked with a significant number of award-winning SMEs on branding and product development. This varied career has been recognised with over 40 industry awards, the highlight being two Cannes Lions.Key to my abilities is my skill at getting to the heart of the brief, working with clients/stakeholders to help them define their actual needs and to drive effective design that exceeds client expectations to provide measurable returns. This passionate advocacy for design has led to me being a keynote speaker at events for Typocirlce, Adobe, AIB and, most recently, the Creative Operations Conference in London.Prior to Covid, I was also a regular mentor to design students and a speaker on design & professional practice with the University of Westminster.

Fans get exclusive access to free and paid content from their favourite studios, directors and film professionals that they can consume at home and on mobile. Online Masterclasses, early screenings, interactive sessions and live events let fans get closer to their favourite movie producers. Studios benefit by getting access to detailed psychometric analysis showing how fans consume the content, and as an easy-to-use platform to screen test, perform market research and to interact directly with fans.I worked directly with the platform Technical Director on the Service ,UX & UI design. Smart Updates uses AI to track and notify when a green field article should be updated to retain search ranking position. The project was a mix of Quant and Qual research, interviews, workshops culminating in a UX & UI redesign. The final output exceeded internal metrics in user adoption and was expanded globally as well as providing significantly improved features and user experience.

    The project aim was to develop UX and UI guidelines as well as a range of flexible templates to improve the RFI form submissions and conversions for online university courses. The templates needed to be flexible to accommodate the needs of different course structures and universities brand guidelines.After the discovery and ideation phases, 6 designs (mobile and desktop) were created as high fidelity prototypes and taken forward for video user testing (due to Covid). After two rounds of user testing, 3 master templates and a range of flexible content blocks were then created that allowed a level of customisation that each university could use when creating the web-pages for final deployment. The templates were initially deployed on a single site for live testing. They have now proven their effectiveness and are currently being rolled out across all 7 university websites.

    Project GoalRedesign and development of EOCS. ECOS is Dentsu’s internal media planning and buying tool. The goal was to create a modern, industry-leading platform, retaining the current capabilities while introducing new features and significantly improving the workflow for users both internal and external partners. Introduce new ways of working and improve the ongoing delivery timescales for new features.Outcome OverviewThe project resulted in ECOS GIS an industry-leading GIS- enabled visual media planning and analytics platform. This was a ground-up redesign, incorporating a design system, tech stack, UI, workflows and a raft of new features. I implement a new product team structure combining the tech, design and business analytics teams and introduced a design sprint system that complemented the new agile development.
