The SHS provides strategic input on health to the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The SHS allows DFAT to source high-quality technical advice to support health policy, strategic planning and health programming across the aid management cycle.

- Mayday Rescue Foundation is one of the international partners and champions of the Syria Civil Defence, also known as the White Helmets whose work in urban search and rescue, demining, firefighting and community resilience has been critical to the overall humanitarian response in Syria.- Led external advocacy and communication strategies centered on human rights and war crimes documentation- Managed media interviews and outreach as one of the primary spokespersons of the organization - Oversaw a team of social media analysts and production specialists to develop policy research and reporting about state-backed disinformation based on sophisticated social media analytics and geopolitical trends
