I am a dedicated sales and marketing professional with a strong focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, supported by a solid background in branding, public & media relations, event management, digital marketing, and technology integration. With over 20 years of experience and holding recent C-Suite positions, I have honed my skills in creating impactful marketing strategies that align with ESG values. My passion for driving sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives fuels my commitment to integrating these principles into marketing campaigns, fostering meaningful connections, and achieving tangible results. In April 2023, I was the first Female Sabahan to receive a Professional Certification in Technology Commercialisation as one of the first 5 Sabahans selected for this inaugural scholarship by the Sabah State (SCENIC) in partnership with Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI) with a strong emphasis on ESG and UN SDG.I am active in NGOs and have held important roles in the executive committees spearheading various projects that aim to empower women, improve the livelihoods of others while preserving the environment. In June 2023, I was selected as one of the 12 Malaysians to represent the country in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference in Canada where 300 of the world’s most promising emerging leaders from business, government, labour, and the community sector got together to discuss the year’s theme “Engaged Leadership for Inclusive Change”. During this conference, I led the study groups in discussing 2 mega developments by the country involving Climate Change.In 2022, I founded a new NGO, Meraki Daat Sabah Initiative which aims to empower the marginalised communities in the water villages to live in healthier environments by improving their waste management systems as well as create lasting, local solutions where possible for self-sustainability, project managed the Unwrapping Plastics Project - a 6 month educational program on recycling and upcycling with the US Embassy, Ministry of Education and local City Council across 5 schools and 2 water villages.
