Presently working in the eviction prevention/housing stability HomeBase program that serves close to 2000 Bronx families each year with a staff of 60. Directly manage 3 supervisors each with a staff of up to 6 case managers.Over the last 5 1/2 years have overseen the development and implementation of programs providing housing stability, homeless outreach and placement, transition to permanent housing, and HIV peer training. Two programs embedded Housing Coordinators in the emergency departments at major hospitals in the Bronx. Our trauma-informed supportive program works with 50 families annually as they transition from shelter and remain in permanent housing. The Peer Worker Support Program provided education, skills development, and supervised internships for up to 20 peers in a cohort to receive AIDS Institute Peer Certification. Successfully renewed contracts for all 4 programs, 3 following an initial pilot year. Also co-directed the emergency rental assistance program instituted during the COVID pandemic to ensure clients remained housed when they were no longer able to pay their rent due to job loss or illness. Highly adept in collaborating with program partners and developing creative solutions to ensure programs stay on track and the work gets done. Strong supervisory, written and oral communication, and budget management skills, quick learner able to tackle thorny problems.
