In the first 6 months, successfully merged and reshaped IT teams based on the former IT members from each company aligning culture and working processes.Defined short-term goals to ensure interoperability between both companies, providing mechanisms, tools, and processes to establish a common management framework for the new top management team.Set up baseline projects with a 2-year timeframe to achieve a unified company, migrating two Oracle EBS ERPs to a new SAP S/4 Hana ERP in order to establish a single company process model. The same approach was taken for the oil production system, G&G apps, drilling reporting tools, well management, and more.Renegotiated, abandoned, modified, merged, or adapted over 100 contracts with IT vendors to optimize the overall OPEX of the new IT operation, resulting in more than $1 million in savings achieved within the first 12 months.Established several baseline projects for migrating former CGC legacy systems to the cloud or decommissioning them, while also implementing a unified network (both business and OT / SCADA), a common domain, and unified communication, collaboration, and email systems for the newly merged company.Brougth BI & Analytics capabilities to the overall organization extending the succesfully maturity achieved on Sinopec on datawarehousing, self-service BI, data governance by the Data Team.
