About Marcela Mendoza
I'm a first generation Latina and recent law graduate who passed the July 2024 Illinois Bar Exam!! I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker and writer. I've been exposed to various legal fields through law school courses and work experience (such as criminal law, police board cases, immigration, family law, and personal injury). I was also 1 of 8 students selected to participate in DePaul's yearlong Business Law Clinic where I gained hands on experience with transactional matters and rendering legal advice! Through the Clinic I've had the pleasure to work on drafting employment handbooks and agreements, commercial real estate leases, non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, trademark registration, exculpatory agreements, and drafting memorandum. As a spirited learner, I enjoy working on projects that challenge and employ my creativity in order to accomplish client goals.
