In my role as a Business Studies teacher, my primary objective is to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of key business concepts as outlined in the detailed IGCSE syllabus. To achieve this, I've developed an extensive 18-week plan, encompassing approximately 90 hours of guided learning and assessment.My teaching approach is dynamic and engaging. I leverage various methods, including video case studies, business profiling, concept playlists, group and photo presentations, all designed to foster active and participatory learning. Additionally, I utilize quizzes and class activities as effective tools to assess and evaluate students' comprehension.I closely examine examiner's reports, comments, and candidate responses to pinpoint areas where students can enhance their application, analysis, and evaluation of key business concepts within case studies. To alleviate examination anxiety and gauge readiness, I conduct two sets of mock examinations.In my role as a Pearson Edexcel BTEC Enterprise Assessor, I nurture an entrepreneurial mindset and skill set among students participating in the BTEC Extended Certificate in Entrepreneurship program. In my capacity as the Head of Operations at Raising Star Africa Foundation (RSAF), my responsibilities encompass orchestrating the annual strategic direction of the organization as well as overseeing its day-to-day operational activities. Within this role, I am entrusted with the pivotal task of formulating and executing a streamlined, comprehensive operational support system that caters to the diverse needs of various functional areas.
