My career started as a bench tech in hospital labs which led to an interest in supervision and management. From there I progressed into the more specialized areas of regulatory compliance and quality. I believe good quality and compliance programs begin with good training and frequent follow-up in the form of conversations, monitoring, continuing education, and swift corrective actions. During my career, I have gained knowledge and experience in healthcare compliance laws, rules, and regulations, specifically the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute. I also have experience in auditing, investigations, training, and risk assessment.
