Tweag got acquired by Modus Create. I continue managing about half of Tweag's client portfolio from the sales and solutions side, as well as other projects of the consulting platform in the digital operations, data and AI, developer tooling and processes, migrations, cybersecurity spaces.

I switched to a more general role, negotiating and coordinating about 5‑10 projects at a time across all software themes that Tweag is involved in, mostly in the data science, data engineering and build systems space. I have worked on many projects in this function, won RFPs and research grants, conceived and led Tweag’s Open Source Fellowship program.

I started leading Tweag’s data science team when it was still very small. This meant working on and blogging about Open Source contributions, talking to clients about their business needs, helping with recruitment, designing data architecture and putting together teams to work on projects. During this time, we built up a rounded data science and.

In my first mission as consultant in the software industry, I led a project to redesign an internal data science library/platform for a company used by a large team of data scientists and data analysts. I then helped a ML company in the anomaly detection space to setup their backend, and I worked with a large client in the Pharma industry on an internal.

My Post‑Doc was about analyzing faint vibrations ”listening” to ocean waves and other natural or man‑made activities all over the Earth. For example, I predicted ocean wave height in the Caribbean with vibrational sensors deployed in Europe. This requires very careful signal processing, modelling wave propagation and various pattern recognition techniques.

During my PhD I examined in large‑scale numerical simulations how scattered elastic waves ‑ the seismic coda ‑ carry statistical properties of the subsurface through the Earth. This involved generating random models of the Earth based on non‑stationary spectral methods and later neural‑network driven generative models when they started to emerge.

Self-propelled, locally interacting particles or organisms (fishes, birds,...) are complex systems that can self-organize to move collectively in the same direction under certain conditions. At MPI, I studied these conditions with numerical agent-based simulations.
