• Engaged in the identification of gaps in a current mechanism for the participation of vulnerable groups into development of the Oregon Transportation System to design problem/opportunity statement, initiate business case & charter that lead to the establishment of process improvement of ODOT's engagement activities;• Initiated the process of Public Engagement Guidebook updates that guided operationalization & implementation of mechanisms, resulted in improved participation of women, youth, low-income, non-traditional and native communities, in decision-making processes related to transportation system, by attracting their comments, written inputs & recommendations.
