A founding member of the Innosoft Team, I have a doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Before joining the 42 Group, I was a faculty member in the Information Systems Department at the College of Computer Sciences and IT, King Faisal University (KFU). While at the University, I was an advisor to the Head of the Innovation and Business Development Unit. I was also the chairman of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee at the college and championed numerous projects and initiatives as part of this role. Most notable projects have been in the area of Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Security and Human-Machine Interfaces. I was also a technology consultant to the Environment Protection Unit and the Vertical Farming Initiative, both of which were established as part of the Vision 2030 realization strategy by KFU. I was the chairman of the team that created the program for Master of Science in Cybersecurity at KFU. I am currently an editorial member of the Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Journal by Naif University of Security Sciences.I received my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2012 and my MS degree in 2006 in Software Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. My bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering was from Osmania University in India for which I was awarded the Gold Medal. My research interests are in Software Quality, Software Modeling, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I have authored and co-authored number of publications in these areas. I was the recipient of several research grants from both industry and academia. I have been a member of the Quality and Academic Accreditation Committee since I joined King Faisal University and facilitated the accreditation of various academic programs at the college by ABET and NCAAA. I was also the recipient of the “Best Faculty Award” for the Academic Year 2019-20.
