My professional background includes 30 years of experience in corporate finance and operations, mainly within the financial services industry. During my career I have held progressive leadership positions, with Fortune 500 firms, including Toyota, Wachovia Bank, and AT&T, as well as small to medium sized growth companies. My focus is centered on revenue growth, expense management, margin expansion and boosting bottom-line profitability. Currently, I serve as Chief Financial Officer of Merit Financial Advisors where I am responsible for all accounting, finance, and capital markets functions. Prior to my current role, I was CFO for ResMac, Verity Credit Union, The LIT Group, MacFarlane Group and Toyota Financial Savings Bank for 7 years, where I led a team of professionals responsible for growing and managing an asset portfolio of secured and unsecured loans in excess of $850 million. Prior to joining Toyota, I was CFO of Vesdia Corporation, where I oversaw financial operations, fundraising activities, and facilitated three M&A transactions. During my tenure, Vesdia’s revenue growth averaged more than 200% annually. Prior to joining Vesdia, I served as Vice President of Finance & Division Controller for Wachovia Bank's $6 billion credit card portfolio and in a finance capacity for InfiCorp Holdings. In these positions I was heavily involved in the companies’ strategic planning and forecasting activities and played key roles in several portfolio acquisitions. I was also involved in facilitating asset backed securitization transactions totaling more than $2 billion dollars. Prior to Wachovia and InfiCorp, I held various accounting and finance positions with AT&T Universal Card Services and was part of the company’s original credit card product launch team.I have a B.S.
