Upon taking on the role of Lower School Teacher I was also afforded the opportunity to become the Lower School Science Leader, of which I am still in role. I also run the Global Leader initiative which focusses on the sustainability both in and around our campus.

I transferred across the Academy trust to take on the role of Key Stage Leader, originally with the added position of Maths and Science leader during the remainder of the academic year, continuing on with both Key Stage Leader and Science Leader during the last academic year. I also sat on the board of Governors as the staff representative.

Having taken on a position with the school after a fruitful final year placement as a trainee teacher I initially took on the role of KS1 teacher with Sports Leadership responsibility. During my 1st/2nd year of teaching in this role I worked on an initiative to tackle obesity through sports and active play, in which we championed through a local news station.I then moved into Science Leadership working with other likeminded teachers across the county to develop Science capital.I also became a mentor for NQTs, Trainee teachers and College TA trainees.
