What initially led me to architecture was curiosity and a yearning to understand how to shape our surroundings. The construction and development field has become very demanding and competitive, as such working on large and complex projects increasingly requires a high level of efficiency and strategic planning. Although the architectural field is mostly known for design and aesthetics it has increasingly been leaning towards data and software technology with the use of BIM and parametric / generative design. Contractually speaking, architecture firms are now also responsible to deliver 3D models with the right data according to agreed standards which requires software related specializations. As such, as an architectural engineer I have been developing my skills to better perform in my profession. My range of knowledge and skills has expanded not only within building technology but in software development as well.

  Part of the BIM Expert team. Currently working on the development of the infrastructure modalities on the north side of Eindhoven Central Station. Previously worked on the train station of Zoetermeer, the university building project Gemini at TU Eindhoven, the housing project Hyde Park in Hoofdorp, the mixed-use project CrossOver in the Zuidas, the Boompjes Apartment towers in Rotterdam, the Y Towers [apartments & hotel] project and various competitions and conceptual studies. Worked with consultants to achieve BREEAM design certification Outstanding and Excellent for CrossOver and Gemini respectively.
