Professional Engineer since 2000 having more than 22 years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering with specialisation in structural analysis/design.This field includes the rehabilitation and upgrading works of barrages, canals, and distribution the system, design of public buildings, hospitals, housing schemes, mosques, universities, overhead water tanks, structures for water supply schemes, highway bridges, schools, microwave towers, underpasses, industrial structures.Possess skill for detailing and supervision of structural plans for a variety of reinforced concrete and steel structures. Also, possess the skill for preparation of Bills of Quantities,Engineer’s Cost Estimates and Bar Bending Schedules. Have also worked on building and highway construction sites, for site supervision.Familiar with international codes of practice and design standards such as those ofthe American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Council of Building Officials (ICBO), and the British Standards Institution (BSI). Possesses skills for use of computer-based techniques for structural analysis and design. Familiar with the use of specialized application software like STAAD-Pro, SAP, ETABS, SAFE,AutoCAD, Excel, and Word are the computer software that I use for the analysis/design of thesestructures Possesses basic knowledge of drafting tools.
