Working in the offshore and onshore Geotechnical field since 2008. I've gained extensive experience from working in both offshore and onshore industries. In the offshore industry I've worked on various geotechnical and geohazard investigation project in various regions (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia). The offshore investigations were of water depth varying from 50 m to 3500 m below sea level, those investigations typically comprised seabed/downhole sampling and CPT, and in-situ vane testing, seismic Cone Penetration Test (SCPT), T-bar and Ball probe testing, seabed box corer sampling, gravity piston core and jumbo piston core sampling. The offshore duties include supervising offshore campaign to ensure that highest quality data is acquired and client satisfactions are met. In addition to quality control and check, processing and interpretation of all acquired data, producing borehole logs and factual reports in accordance with ASTM/BS/ISO to present all findings from laboratory tests and in-situ tests. Whenever required Engineering analysis was performed for Jack-up leg penetration analyses, and axial and lateral pile design.While for the onshore projects which was mostly acquired in the province of Ontario; Canada duties included coordinating and supervising geotechnical, pavement, and geo-environmental investigation projects. Responsibilities include perform footing and caissons inspection, drilling to determine soil conditions and strength, performing and assign laboratory and materials testing in accordance with OPSS and ASTM, preparing detailed daily site reports, performing engineering analyses for slope stability and foundation design, and preparing Geotechnical Investigation Reports.
