Born in Palermo, Italy, I earned the Master of Science in Architectural Engineering cum laude from the University of Palermo in 2013.Always been keen on interior and product design then, after graduation, I applied for the Domus Academy Master in Interior and Living Design, in Milan, gaining a competition called "Il Design Parla Italiano"​ that allowed me to join DA with a scholarship.The Master's Mentor was the architect Patricia Urquiola and during this period we have had the opportunity to work in collaboration with leading design companies such as B&B Italia, Flos, Kvadrat and Moroso, fully exploring the design world. I successfully received the Academic Master’s Degree from Domus Academy in July 2014. From February 2014 to March 2015, including a six month internship, I worked as Junior Architect/Interior Designer at Paolo Cesaretti Design Agency, where I was involved in architectural and interior design of private residences, product design and especially in exhibition design (Cersaie 2014 - Bologna, The Big5 2014 - Dubai, Unicera 2015 - Istanbul, ISH 2015 - Frankfurt, Coverings 2015 - Orlando).I grew really much working in these fields, from concept development to completion with experience of on-site construction and detailing, mostly in international contexts.In May 2016 I co-founded the SOLIDCOLLECTIVE studio.A design team of young Architects & Interior Designers working in STYLING, INTERIORS & DESIGN.MY personal SKILLS// Highly motivated in a challenging ever-changing environment// Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Italian and English languades// Strong ability to handle multi-tasks, deadlines and focus persistently on outcomes// Solid organizational skills// Team playerPORTFOLIO www.behance.net/manuelamottareale
