Over the course of twenty plus years, Matthew Murray has established a track record of driving hyper-growth, creating iconic moments and ground-breaking companies. His roles have encompassed a variety of businesses and positions over that time, from Fortune 500 firms to emerging brands. Formerly an integral part at Oakley, Getty Images, ICM Partners, Theragun (now Therabody), and Love Wellness.Most recently, Murray was a partner at Love Wellness alongside Founder & CEO, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth. In addition, Murray served as the COO and CMO. During his time with Bosworth starting in early 2018, the company experienced over 150x in revenue growth, eclipsing eight figures in 2019 with nationwide distribution in Ulta Beauty and Target as well as positive EBITDA in 2021.In August 2021, Murray reopened his consultancy, Coalition Space, Inc., where he provides services like brand marketing expertise, business planning, operational efficiency modeling, company audits using his "BluePrint" method, as well as his award-winning creative direction and photography that have appeared in numerous global campaigns and media publications.Parallel to his consulting work, Murray once again picked up his camera to record "Writing w/ Light" but this time with a new Leica setup. After nearly 30 years, he switched from Canon to Leica as their digital body now attaches to their renowned M lens lineup. Since the switch, he has been featured in four exhibitions and several installations. Matthew’s focus is capturing moments that seem surreal in nature but are possible through his unique eye leveraging the Leica camera and lens combo; producing some of the most detailed and lively photographs at any scale.Upon moving back to Virginia for the first time since 2000, Murray wanted to give back to his alma mater, James Madison University. This Spring semester (2024) is his sixth consecutive semester of providing keynotes, lectures, workshops, and mentorship for the Hart School (sports management), Visual Arts School (his degree), and Entrepreneurship School (his passion).Matthew is passionate about the arts and advocating for Lyme disease. He ran the NYC Marathon three times to raise funds and awareness for Lyme, a disease that his mother and brother have battled for years. When not working, Matthew enjoys time with his wife, Hillary, and two children, Blaise and Kilian by traveling the world, enjoying winter sports, golf and tennis.
