Publicly held Intellectual Property and R&D Technology Company (NASDAQ: IDCC)Leading driver of industry wide innovations in Wireless Technologies.Responsibilities & Achievements • Responsible for finding top talent for five domestic/international locations (R&D Wireless Engineers, RAN, LTE, 3GPP, Corporate functions, HR, Finance, Administrative, IT, IP Attorneys etc.).• Partner with the executive team to create recruiting forecasts, operating budgets, succession plans, position profiles, and execute special projects.• Hired and managed contract recruiting team based on budget and hiring needs.• Integral member of the Human Resource team conducting new hire orientations, compensation recommendations/evaluations and employee relations. • Create new web based requisition processes, employment applications and online approval flow resulting in complete paperless automation of the requisition process. Time to approval was reduced 70% while strengthening SOX and EEOC compliance. • 2012 Innovation Award for “Development of Workflows & Process Automation”• Work under high-pressure situations resulting from an accelerated early retirement program roll-out and subsequent corporate restructuring resulting in the creation of three separate entities. • Develop and manage a national internship program focused on top-tier engineering schools. Create Interdigital’s first intern program guide, develop and strengthen university relationships and lead on-campus recruitment including PhD forums and information sessions.• Implement new recruiting tools using social networks and targeted associations (Jobvite, Linked In Recruiter, Indeed.com, IEEE, 3GPP, Law Jobs, and Facebook). Negotiated favorable posting rates/ terms with major job boards saving ~15%.• Work closely with SVP of Communications and Investor Relations to improve our employer brand in the marketplace. • Manage relocation program and assist with work visas and other immigration issues.
