At BLAST (Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust), I had the opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of providing legal assistance and support to vulnerable populations. As a Junior Legal Officer, I gained valuable experience working with individuals facing land-related issues, including refugees and displaced communities.In this role, I provided crucial legal counseling and advice to individuals, guiding them on their land rights and entitlements. I actively participated in drafting legal documents such as First Information Reports (FIRs), General Diaries (GDs), and complaints, ensuring accurate and comprehensive representation of clients' interests.One of the highlights of my experience at BLAST was the opportunity to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and rescue of victim survivors. I played a key role in coordinating efforts, working closely with stakeholders to provide necessary support and protection to those in need.Additionally, I conducted training sessions for staff members from various sectors under BLAST, enhancing their understanding of land laws and related legal matters. This allowed me to contribute to capacity building within the organization, empowering colleagues to better assist and advocate for vulnerable populations.Throughout my time at BLAST, I remained committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting access to justice for all. My experience at BLAST has further solidified my passion for working in the field of humanitarian and legal aid, driving me to continue making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
