I love telling stories, and I'm grateful to have a career that affords me the opportunity to do so professionally. I've worked across mediums, public and private sectors, and industries to tell the stories of the people, companies, and projects changing our lives.Throughout my career, I have held several key positions that have allowed me to excel in crafting compelling narratives and delivering impactful messages. I started my career as a Press Secretary to members of the New York State Assembly. Here I had the opportunity to work closely with elected officials to effectively convey their policy initiatives to the public they represented.Recognizing the growing importance of social media in storytelling, I took on the role of the first full-time Social Media Manager in the state legislature. In this capacity, I pioneered innovative social media strategies, leveraging various platforms to engage with constituents and amplify key messages. I launched the conference's Instagram and Medium accounts, oversaw all digital content and social media advertising, had Facebook and Twitter accounts verified, and worked with members on social media strategy. After a successful public sector career, I led the New York expansion for Duffy and Shanley, where I collaborated with some of the largest renewable energy companies on the planet and in the country. This invaluable experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector and the unique challenges it faces in today's evolving energy landscape. I successfully executed impactful campaigns, including those related to offshore wind, the transition of New York's Ravenswood Generating Facility to a renewable energy hub, and solar facilities across the United States. My work on offshore wind recieved three Bell Ringer Awards from the PR Club of New England in 2022. Currently, I am grateful to be continuing my career at Torch Communications, LLC.
