• Directly reported to the Executive Director of the Heart and Vascular Center & Respiratory Services. Responsibilities included oversight for business and financial operations for invasive (CCL) and noninvasive (ECHO/EKG), adult and pediatric, inpatient and outpatient cardiac services, Interventional Radiology, the Women’s Heart Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, the Pacemaker Clinic, the Heart Failure Clinic, Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, Vascular Services, Respiratory Services including six blood gas labs, the inpatient Vascular Diagnostic Lab, the CV Research Department and the Hybrid OR. SJH is a 525 bed hospital and the service supported 193 FTEs.• Direct supervision of IT/IS Staff, Revenue Liaisons, Materials Coordinators and Research Coordinators.• Responsibilities included; capital acquisitions, materials management, clinical information systems implementation and support, financial oversight including revenue capture (gross Charges $294 million) and budget creation/management ($39 million) • Worked collaboratively with the purchasing director to negotiate and manage contracts specific to the service line. • Five consecutive years of coming in at or below budget targets. • Oversight and leadership in the design and construction of two new Cardiac Catherization suites, two Interventional Radiology suites, one Combo Room and the Hybrid Operating Room.• Project management over the installation and implementation of the Wavemark RFID secure inventory tracking system in the CCL, IR and Hybrid OR. • Project management over installation/implementation the of cardiovascular electronic medical record and physician reporting system – 100% physician compliance. • Oversight of PACS (SYNGO, SYNAPSE) and multi modality IT support • Chair of CCL health system monthly conference call responsible to determine initiatives for technology, operations and supplies• LEAN Green-belt Certification, black-belt trained.
