I am a registered dietitian with experience in public health, clinical nutrition, kidney and diabetes care, outpatient counseling, value-based care, and behavior change counseling. Originally a group fitness instructor, I have a deep understanding of the motivating factors behind lifestyle modifications that improve individual and public health. Learning Spanish is also a skill that has improved my communication with my patients and has allowed me to say “yes” to opportunities previously inaccessible, such as translation and interpreting.
