IT consultant for various private and state agencies. I managed a group of four field engineers. Our primary responsibility was to provide in-house daily IT support for various SMB companies as well as project-based implementations. This was approximately a 75% hands-on engineer and 25% manager position. Technologies included just about everything a small business would need and varied between clients. Examples are Windows servers (2003 mostly at the time), Exchange, LAN/WAN network, firewalls, printers, VPN/remote access, anti-virus, backup solutions, Office and other client software, and so on. Most clients were between 25 and 75 employees. They couldn't justify a full-time IT person so we were a one-stop shop for all IT needs. We typically visited each client once per week and supported them for emergency needs 24/7.
