Resident Engineer
● To maintain the local area network including all its components.● To provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting, identifying and resolving any issue with any end- user device (including, a desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, etc.) being used by a HIMS user at the hospital.● Supported hospital HIMS users in the use of the application.● Followed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to receive and respond to communication in case HIMS is not usable.● Monitoring capacity planning, trending, and the use of system resources.● Run and communicate reports from HIMS as needed and/or requested by PITB or the hospital.● Help with all the applicable activities about the upgrade of HIMS and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.● Coordination with PITB headquarters regarding HIMS functionality, issues, or any other item regarding the usage of HIMS at the hospital.● Help with the creation/adjustment of HIMS user rights as needed for any user at the hospital in coordination with hospital management as needed.● Execute security measures in coordination with the organization's security staff.
