Lead the newly formed Security Management engineering team for RSA - this group is responsible for the Security Operations and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) product lines. Products in this engineering group include the largest acquisitions made by RSA over the last few years, as part of the build out to becoming a strategic security partner for our customers. The products are focused on Security Incident and Event Management, Data Leakage Prevention and GRC. The key focus of the group, in addition to driving to leadership positions in each of these markets, is to deliver a portfolio strategy that demonstrates the integrated value coming from the combined leverage of these product lines.

Create and manage a single engineering organization focused on all Data Security related products in RSA. Products in this engineering group include multiple recent acquisitions and other organically developed products. The products are focused on Data Leakage Prevention Suite, File encryption, Key Management, and Cryptography (BSAFE), and Intelligent Information Management.

Part of the RSA, Data Security Group, the Intelligent Information Management Core Technology Unit (IIM CTU) is a mini business unit responsible for creating shared technologies for Classification, Information Discovery and Policy Management that will be embedded in multiple products across RSA and EMC. This will be the core foundation for the RSA Data Leakage Product suite and also EMC's eDiscovery and Information Compliance initiatives.

Built the team from ground up and drove to launch and merger into RSA. we received multiple industry awards for the product (Infoworld 2007 Technology of the year and SearchStorage 2007 Silver Award)Drove initial high visibility customer discussions and adoption as lead technologist. Part of the core strategy team charting the product direction, business strategies for the product line. Created and incubated a 50+ people engineering organization spread across 3 locations in 2 continents. Drove multiple product releases for the first Classification based Information management product by a major corporation.

Sr. Manager responsible for incubation and creation of an engineering organization for a brand new software product initiative in EMC Software Group. Product was the foundation of EMC's Intelligent Information Management strategy, and involved integration of core EMC Software with technologies from the Documentum, Legato and Smarts product suites.Core foundation of the platform was Information Discovery, Classification of information based on various aspects including deep content analysis and finally Policy Management and Orchestration of Information Management actions.Incubation stage included rapid, iterative prototyping to demonstrate feasability of the concept to highest level executives inside the company and customer discussions with C level executives from the fortune 50 customer base. Successful exit from incubation stage included charter to establish the Intelligent Information Management platform with a goal to release the 1.0 Product in 2H'06
