Freelance business consisting of UX/UI and visual design work for both large and small businesses. Notable work includes the creation of a diversity focused resident engagement program for a national senior living facility company. Based upon interviews from residents, activities were written and designed to foster community among a diverse population. A landing page was created for residence staff members to access the needed documents and instructions.

Denver, Colorado

Contracted with Aimco Apartments and assisting with the design and creation of over 40 new websites related to their luxury properties. Designed the user interface of the site mock-ups for stakeholder reviews, worked with copywriters, marketing managers, and photographers to craft on-brand content. Managed images and floorplan diagrams with Adobe Experience Manager CMS.

I worked onsite as a contract Web Designer with OhioHealth providing Web design and digital design support to the team as a continuation of the work I did with them building their new site in 2016. This looked like managing the CMS and structure of the site content as well as updating pages. I provided valuable support during this contract as I already understood how the CMS worked so I was able to jump in without much instruction beyond the basic task explanation. This saved time and money for the company and the digital team as it allowed them to continue working on other projects.

My work with Battelle allowed for learning and growth opportunities. I was hired to fill a need with proposal graphics working in Powerpoint, as time progressed, certain business needs arose that I was able to fill in with skills gained from previous positions. Additionally, I learned how to create animated web banners so that we did not have to hire a separate company to do the work. This initiative saved the company time and money by keeping work in-house. Outside of proposal graphics and web banners, I created marketing materials trade show booth graphics, environmental graphics, documents for contract projects, and interactive infographics.

I worked as a Digital Content Loader and Designer building out pages for OhioHealth's new website. Once the pages were built, I applied other skills by curating photographs for use on the web pages as well as assisted with page layout and flow of the site.

I worked primarily in the digital space creating content for our website and email blasts, and social media posts. I photographed and edited new product images, and also managed the online image library. Within the Elmer's brand were Krazy Glue, X-ACTO, and Freestyle. I created packaging and ads for those brands as well. While working at Elmer's, I expanded my responsibilities by creating animated gifs for use in our digital media. This had only be done a few times before, and I expanded our use of them. This was a skill I did not have prior to this job, so I learned how to create inviting frame-by-frame animations.

Sylvania, Ohio

I created print pieces for various clients, mainly large corporations both domestic and international. The majority of my work focused on creating the additional pieces to the Root visual Learning Maps. This included cards, a facilitator guide, dialogue cards or flips, a card wallet, and labels for packaging purposes. I adapted client brand standards for all of my work.

I created and printed wedding and event invitations, banners, and various accessories for customers in store, as well as managed orders placed through outside vendors. Within the design studio, I managed product stock such as paper and envelopes and kept inventory and performed printer maintenance when necessary.

I supported the Visual Communications Director in the creation of design projects for the 2012 Ohio State Fair. My work included wayfinding and signage, advertising, catalogs, promotional items, and invitations for specific events during the fair.

From June to August of 2010 and 2011, I worked in the Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition as a Gallery Assistant. While in this position, I helped set up the show and maintain the gallery space during the fair.
