My organization is composed of multiple specialized teams that provide foundational support to Gartner Digital Markets.I lead the "Central Experience" organization, which is focused on building technical leverage by building and optimizing data-driven systems and processes. Our efforts include developing APIs and event streams using systems like Kafka and technologies like Golang to create a decoupled distributed system, creating operational and analytical data feeds, and implementing machine learning models and adtech emitters.The teams reporting to me include Enterprise Data, which focuses on large-scale data management and integration using platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, and Data Engineering, responsible for the design and maintenance of our data architecture. I also oversee the Martech team, which covers AdTech, Traffic Quality, and Tracking, as well as several other internal product teams dedicated to generating and refining data, such as Catalog and Reviews.Together, these teams work to create a robust data infrastructure that drives innovation and supports the continued growth and success of Gartner Digital Markets.Prior to leading CX, I led the SoftwareAdvice technology teams, which included building consumer facing applications in ReactJS.

In May 2019, Validity, Inc. purchased Return Path.● Building teams and scaling engineering org to deliver B2B data and machine learning products as well as B2C consumer web and mobile applications. ● Develop and mentor front line managers, Sr Managers and Directors.● Leads Architecture council of principal engineers and technical leaders. ● Owns RP's long-term technical roadmap and architecture.● Member of due diligence team targeting strategic acquisitions.● Member of due diligence team helping drive RP to an exit.

● Led engineering for an RP spin out organization (comprised of my data teams and some presentation teams) around a Consumer Insights product to be the "digital Nielsen."● Drove NewCo to successful product exit and led merging of engineering teams back into Return Path.

● Crafted strategy, built teams, and drove execution of ingestion, processing, redaction, enrichment, and delivery of high quality data to internal product teams.● Developed front line managers from within RP. Taught them how to hire, performance manage, and execute product road maps on teams.● Evangelized good technical practices and new technologies around engineering in order to drive greater developer productivity, system performance, and defect reduction.

● Built a high performing team to transform a failing product into a profitable, scalable, well respected, world class API.● Strategy was hyper customer focused around building trust and providing both a great API as well as amazing support via slack.● Reduced operating expenses while scaling up to millions of users.● Hired, developed, and promoted team members.

● Joined as lead engineer before incorporation and built a technology based rental car company from seed stage to Series B.● Prototyped first hardware car interface solution; demoed it to secure Series A funding.● Designed and implemented high performance systems for reservations which allowed the mapping of an abstract pool of cars to a concrete fleet, including helping find "alternative" rental times (i.e., we don't have a car now, but if you're flexible and can pick it up an hour later, we can provide you one). As of 2019, this system was still in production.● Designed and implemented supporting systems and APIs such as car tracking, billing, fleet management, and automated pickup/return systems.
