With 20+ years of GIS experience, my career path started when I entered into the military as a topographical engineer. The Defense Mapping Agency introduced me to aerial photo interpretation, stereoscopic equipment, raster analysis and remote sensing. In the past I have worked several years for Kittitas County that presented me with both challenges and opportunities. Working at the county, I learned all the facets of local governance and how GIS could effectively be integrated to best serve the public. Multiple departments needing multiple solutions and I found that in GIS. Most recently I supported Hanford's Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) as a GIS Analyst. I worked under various subcontractors over time, always supporting the Department of Energy's cleanup efforts to the Hanford site. At Hanford I was able to work with multiple products like (LiDAR/DSM's,/DEM's for analysis. Aerial and Satellite imagery. I am proficient in SQL Expression, Arcade, Python and Model Builder, allowing me to become effective in geospatial solutions & analysis for reporting. I learned how to publish service layers to Portal, Manage Enterprise data, leverage versioned editing, network development, Survey123, ArcGIS Indoor, Trimble GPS/RTK hardware for capture, and so much more.
