Member of the dean’s staff at Cockrell School of Engineering focused on national security. Tasked with developing partnerships to fund research, competitive student teams, and Capstones. Assisted partners with recruiting efforts. Helped principal investigators achieve tenure. Partnerships developed include Army Futures Command, Lockheed Martin, MITRE, General Dynamics, and others.Achievements:• Secured research funding for Cockrell School of Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering), Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, Texas Advanced Computing Center, Computer Science, School of Information, Texas Innovation Center, and Moody College of Communication. • Received Dean's Staff Award - Outstanding Employee 2018.• Singlehandedly managed the start of UT Austin’s relationship with Army Futures Command for 14 months, resulting in $9M in research funding. Led the effort working with Under Secretary Ryan McCarthy and LTG James Richardson that resulted in UT Austin being awarded the Army’s Robotics Center of Excellence 2019.• Received a coin of excellence from Under Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy 2019.• Received coins of excellence from the Commanding General of Army Futures Command, GEN Mike Murray 2019 and 2021.• Received coin of excellence from Thomas F. Greco, Defense Intelligence Senior Executive and Deputy Chief of Staff, TRADOC while simultaneously proclaimed an Army Mad Scientist 2020.• Advisor to the Autonomy Institute.• National Science Foundation Innovation Corps industry mentor, supporting a computer science researcher and her PhD student, San Francisco cohort.
