"No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it." ---H.E. Luccock, ProfessorNo one is as overwhelmed and stressed than an individual trying to do everything. Efficiency and quality of work require delegation and teamwork. When an orchestra or team has synergy, that means that what they create together is greater than the sum of its parts. I have long been fascinated to know why some teams work and others do not. My passion and strength rests on being a high-performance leader that motivates and drives my team to work cohesively to deliver strong results. I focus on building talent and trust and enabling my team to grow.In my past role, I had the opportunity to use the pandemic to foster a retail pharmacy environment of loyalty, compassion, and teamwork in the effort to serve the public need of vaccinations and Covid-19 care. By recognizing my own strengths and weakness, I became a more effective leader through self-awareness and humility. It is paramount in getting the buy-in from team members to solve issues that impact business objectives and outcomes. Leadership is a social process. It isn't about a strong or charismatic individual, but about a group of people working together collectively to achieve results together. When I am not providing pharmaceutical care and team building, I enjoy physical fitness, running, and long distance racing. I also enjoy volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association and raising awareness for dementia and the care givers of those afflicted with it, like both of my parents. I look forward to connecting with you.
