A paid summer placement position with Faber Maunsell (now AECOM) in Glasgow, I assisted the transport planning and intelligent transport systems teams with a range of tasks, and gained an appreciation for the work of a major consultancy.I subsequently returned to work with the company following my graduation from the University of Leeds.

A paid summer placement, I worked in the transportation team, assisting with a range of tasks including transfer of Traffic Regulation Order records from a paper database to a GIS database.
