About Margaret-Nuella Tsekpetse Mba

Margaret-Nuella Tsekpetse specialises in turning a startup into an establishment. A problem-solver, making tough decisions even in high-pressure moments. I delight in starting from scratch and I am not afraid of the unknown. I prefer to create benchmarks and standards: complete with KPI’s for roles, workflows, and structured reporting systems. At Empowering Female Minds in STEM, I, as Director of Programmes, analysed and optimised workflows, leading to significant improvements in coordination, productivity and efficiency. I aspire to shape and mentor dynamic, resilient and visionary female ‘STEMinists’, who will not only contribute but also lead the narrative of Africa’s innovative future.Along with my twelve years of professional experience, I recently received my MBA (University of South Wales) with a focus on project and operational management. I have taken a course in the Agile MBA with Job Hackers encompassing: 1. The 12 principles behind Agile; 2. Introduction to the Scrum Framework; and understanding the Agile Manifesto; 3. Principles of Product Development Flow; 4. Systems thinking and theory of constraints; and 5. Cognitive biases and the human side of programming. The TechLeap Institute also cemented my knowledge of Scrum-in-action. I collaborated with a team of 7 ladies to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) called SuaveShe (https://suaveshe803.bumpa.shop) complete with business profile, business, product sourcing and marketing plans. Lessons that particularly resonated with me:1. Using the Kano method for prioritisation;2. Harnessing business goals in forming the sprint goals; and3. Creating user stories that resonate with the product being designed.Together, let's transform and maximise the business and professional landscape with humanity in mind!
