One among the six pilots who pioneered a dedicated HEMS/Air Ambulance services in India. The operation mainly covered southern states of the country. In collaboration with Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH) a leading HEMS service provider of USA, we implemented their expertise/SOP into Indian ecosystem.In spite of accomplishing many life saving sorties and organ transfers the business model couldn’t sustain and we learnt many priceless lessons.

• Handled HR functions of team of 70+ personnel, ensuring training continuity and discipline, task allocation, leave planning, documentation, welfare, grievance management aspects of individuals and their annual performance appraisals.• Responsible for planning and scheduling flying task, task allocation, crew/ aircraft utilization and Flight Safety.• Responsible for conceptualizing, planning and execution of manpower, logistics & technical support.• Project monitoring and supervision of renovation and alteration of Hangar and associated buildings with estimated cost of 1.2 crore.

Karwar Area, India

• Conceptualizing, planning and execution of manpower, logistics & technical support for air ops for establishing EEZ for Maldivian Government.• Team member of Planning and execution at multi-levels in co-ordination with multiple agencies for hydrographical survey along Indian West Coast and Lakshadweep Islands.• Responsible for operation, planning and deployment of assets including replenishment of deployed assets.• HR functions of the ship, ensured training continuity and conduct of regular safety drills.• Responsible for discipline, task allocation, leave planning, documentation, event management towards welfare and morale boosting measures of the personnel.

Port Blair Area, India

• Responsible for planning and execution of Anti-Poaching operations of north group of Islands of A & N Islands.• Team member for safety audit of Naval Ships.• Led independent teams on various detached operations as Detachment Commander including air borne armed surveillance for VVIP visit to Nicobar Islands.• Responsible for material planning, technical aviation inventory management including aviation fuel stocking, ammunition and explosives and forecasting for smooth flying operations at air station at Northern Andaman.• Planning and projection of manpower requirements for future expansion.• Administration of performance management programs, including periodic performance reviews, appraisals and counseling technical ground crew.• Team member for feasibility study of Sea Plane Operations at Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
