I am ensuring a clear plan to execute the product road-map. As a Solution Owner I'm responsible for delivering the agreed development in the budget, scope, quality, and time-frame. Together with the PM we form a tight team and communicate actively about the road-map priorities and the development statuses. One critical goal is to manage and match the resources from different teams from automation & innovation, engineering team in operations, or process development team to execute the development road-map. This requires active collaboration with different function managers to ensure resource availability and right priorities.

I was leading a development team up to 15 persons. Team was responsible to deliver flat tempering specific customized and platform solutions according to product roadmap. Daily work included leading, planning and prioritizing the teams work with according to scrum ceremonies. Defining and planning the longer term roadmap execution for my team was part of the job as well. I was also responsible for evaluating and distributing incoming most demanding L3 level support requests from customers and installations.

Tampere Area, Finland

As a product manager I was responsible for Glaston flat tempering machines. Role required working together with internal and outside stakeholders. Daily sales support for gathering and prioritizing customer requirements to improve products and to match for the demands of our customers. I was responsible for helping our sales to succeed by creating sales- and technical marketing material and preparing the sales agreements. Creating budgets to achieve sales targets and defining the solutions for engineering departments for successful machine deliveries.Ground work included ensuring the the product competitiveness with healthy cost structure and maintaining the machine's option list with features that response to the need of our customers.

Tampere

I worked as a member of a small team in Tampere. I was responsible for remote technical support of Beckhoff controlled new and upgrade glass processing machinery during commissioning and service. I was also responsible of configuring the software of a new delivery projects which could be either brand new machines or upgrade project where old control systems was replaces with Beckhoff control. Job also included product development, such as PLC development for platform or for testing new solutions and new- or replacing components.Occasionally I also traveled for commissioning and for training internal personnel abroad.

Kauhava + Around The Globe

I was responsible for making the the factory commissioning for various different punching type machines and material handling devices. Mainly working in the Kauhava factory, but also leading the final installations and commissioning and of the line at customer facilities abroad. Job also included training the company's local service engineers during the commissioning.I also acted as a substitute for Research engineer for six months during the persons vacation. I was responsible for carrying out various testing tasks related to new products or possible replacement components. Testing tasks required active use of JIRA.

Kauhava + Around The Globe

I was responsible for setting preparing the machines electrically for factory commissioning. Mainly carrying out the tasks at the Kauhava factory,but also making final installations at customer factories abroad.

Building Ethernet network for different locations and fiber-optic cable welding. Same role also during summers 2006 and 2007.

Kauhava

I was responsible to plan and ensure that all military police related weekly training's are executed according the training program either held the training my self or train conscripted non-commissioned officers to held the training.
