My focus as an Operations Research Analyst is building models for quick-turn what-if analysis to help the company achieve minimal Capex spending with dynamic demand signals. Other objectives include maximizing sales by better utilizing existing assets (equipment, cleanroom floor space, etc.). I develop mixed integer linear programming models using Python and IBM CPLEX engine.

I leverage my IE knowledge to lead long range capacity planning for the mid-section wafer-level assembly of Intel Foundry. I spent eight months working as a full-timer and 4 month later as a part-time student (20 hrs per week), my main tasks can be summarized as below:• Capacity Planning - Developed and maintained complex capacity models for critical operations, monitored factory constraints for different product mix and demand;• Labor Modeling/Line Balancing - Developed labor models to estimate the labor cost.
