My focus as an Operations Research Analyst is building models for quick-turn what-if analysis to help the company achieve minimal Capex spending with dynamic demand signals. Other objectives include maximizing sales by better utilizing existing assets (equipment, cleanroom floor space, etc.). I develop mixed integer linear programming models using Python and IBM CPLEX engine.

I leverage my IE knowledge to lead long range capacity planning for the mid-section wafer-level assembly of Intel Foundry. My expertise includes data management and visualization, critical thinking, strategic decision making.As a LTD (was ATTD) capacity integration IE, my focus areas are Wafer Level Assembly, Die Preparation and Sort Testing. Couple of rotations through out the WLA assembly area have made me gained deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process, supplier acumen, cost management and many more. Entegris is a leading provider of a wide range of products for purifying, protecting and transporting critical materials used in the semiconductor and other high-tech industries. I spent eight months working as a full-timer and 4 month later as a part-time student (20 hrs per week), my main tasks can be summarized as below:• Capacity Planning - Developed and maintained complex capacity models for critical operations, monitored factory constraints for different product mix and demand;• Labor Modeling/Line Balancing - Developed labor models to estimate the labor cost. Use Simio to develop simulation models to provide suggestions to the management based on different scenarios KPI result;• SAP Data Enrichment - helped in the process of moving our manufacturing data into SAP system;• Continuous Improvement - involved in multiple project that aimed at eliminating NVA effort, increase throughput and reducing cost;• Value Stream Mapping - built models which help to predict product cycle time which will change dynamically with the amount of WIP at each operations.
