About Mo Ebrahimkhani

I am an Associate Professor with tenure at Department of Pathology, University of Pittsburgh where I also direct the laboratory for synthetic biology and regenerative medicine. I did my training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and as an EASL Sheila Sherlock Fellow at University College London (UCL). My team studies and engineers tissue morphogenesis and regeneration in mouse and human using synthetic and systems biology. We also develop next generation programmable organoids and multicellular systems with important application in medicine and biology. I have strong leadership skills and and expertise in biological engineering, regenerative medicine, organoids, genetic engineering and liver. #ProgrammableMedicine
