Current role.1. Clinical Trial Management• Experienced Study Administrator for EMPA-KIDNEY Trial UK Regional Coordinating Centre (RCC): Working closely with Chief Investigators, Senior Trials Managers, Team Lead and junior Administrators, Monitors and supplies teams: at site level, working with Hospital Trust Research and Development managers, Lead Investigators, Local Research Coordinators (LRCs) and Pharmacy’s, to ensure the successful project management. • Responsible for ensuring key tasks within the lifecycle of the trial are completed in a timely manner and supporting the day-to-day needs of Local Clinical Centres including participant follow-up and maintaining the Electronic Trial Master File, working to the principles of Good Clinical Practice.• Applying for Substantial and Non-Substantial Amendments to the IRAS.• Responsible for arranging face-to-face and virtual Team, Investigator and LRC meetings.• Responsible for the review and approval of accrual information for the trial in the Central Portfolio Management System, National Institute for Health Research. • Leading the EMPA-KIDNEY Body Composition Measurements sub-study in the UK• Designing Newsletters and liaising with RCCs worldwide to manage content and progress. • Responsible for arranging face-to-face and online training for LRCs: setting up online accounts for LRCs in all RCCs worldwide and for CTSU staff, providing instruction and support, monitoring progress and maintaining training records.2. Team Management• Deputising for the UK Team Lead during periods of absence and as required• Managing the Admin Support team to support various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the study• Direct line management of staff3. Department• Responsible Administrator and central point of contact for the secure electronic validated signature system ‘E-Sign’ account for CTSU, NDPH. Advising users and working directly with the provider to resolve any issues, arrange contract updates and invoice payments.• Responsible for arranging face-to-face and online meetings and other ad hoc tasks requested by senior staff as required.
