I lost my mother when I was almost 3 years old and I lost my passion with her! I never felt passionate about anything ever since till my passion for valuation and finance started on my first day at University and that passion reached its top level on my first try to value a real company which was Apple! I screwed up multiple times valuing this company and I really struggled to finish that task, but this situation made me a far better analyst. I kept learning and digging till I successfully valued the company without making mistakes and that’s what made me “The one you should call when it comes to tough valuation challenges.” So if you’re facing valuation challenges just call me! I believe that one day, I am going to establish my own organization to help companies and young professionals solve the toughest challenges in valuation and prevent them from making decisions that destroy value.After University, I started to work as an Accountant at EPEMAC. I have developed my accounting and Excel skills by working with the company and I’ve acquired a lot of other skills like leadership and decision-making. But, my passion for valuation has never stopped, so I started to dig deep in the field and I have finished a Valuation course given by Prof. Aswath Damodaran of NYU stern (For about 40h). During that course, we covered all the areas, methods, and black holes of valuation. I never felt fulfilled learning about valuation, so I took a great step and I survived the toughest valuation training in the world conducted by Dr. Andrew Stotz the former president of CFA Society Thailand. ( Dr. Stotz said, "Mo'men is a top performer and a great leader." "Mo'men brings great passion for valuation and finance." "Mo'men, you will be in a great place one day." The course provided me with an advanced practical experience in company valuation and helped me to know how to solve valuation problems. I learned from Dr. Stotz how to understand financial statements, forecast, and value companies, how to recognize common valuation mistakes, connect between real-world business and valuation. Dr. Andrew gave me the best of his experience! After he felt my transformation, he hired me and now I’m working as an equity analyst in his team. I’ve initiated coverage and written reports on multiple listed companies worldwide and helped over 200 young analysts to learn how to do company valuations using various valuation techniques and write full professional equity research reports.Till now that is all about me, but the best is yet to come!
