Establishing and setting strategic direction of the engineering, maintenance and project delivery structure, frame work and systems for the organisation on a national level .Scoping and defining new projects in diverse ports regionally and functionally from general terminals and roro to new barge berths for oil and gas supply bases through to bulk materials handling ports such as iron ore export stockyard facilities and associated equipment such as bucket wheel reclaimers and stackers tendering and selection from European and Asian manufactures. Setting company standards and overseeing development of specialised and innovative proprietary bulk handling equipment to meet growing business development and operational needs. Tendering, implementing and rolling out an integrated national computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) across six states + and over 12 sites. Providing a structured approach to the entire stage of the project delivery and evolution, directing, reporting and tracking the deployment of resources and training and go live status at each site.

Construction of a new green field state of the art container terminal in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, establishment of the engineering department and role out of corporate policies and proceedures, recruitment and training of engineering staff, and go live operation of the terminal and provide expert knowledge transfer and training to local staff.

Manage the port equipment engineering and facilities maintenance department, environmental compliance management, security systems upgrade for ISPS certification and joint project manager of the terminal infrastructure redevelopment in preparation for terminal equipment automation.
