As an Associate, I have been part of several legal due diligence teams acting for international and local corporations in their proposed acquisitions or disposals of Malaysian corporations. I have advised on several foreign investment transactions, and on compliance issues relating to laws, guidelines and policies relevant to the particular industry or regulatory authority in question. I have also advised numerous companies in various industries on local incorporation.

I took a sabbatical from Skrine in 2015, enabling me to volunteer with the Texas Defender Service, a non-profit law firm specialising in post-conviction capital defence in Texas. During my time with TDS, I analysed and reviewed evidence, drafted various reports and engaged in record collection and fact investigation. I also interviewed clients on Death Row on a number of occasions.
