Mo has extensive experience as both a Guidance Practitioner (over 12 years) and Manager/Head of Service (5 Years). She has a commitment to providing high quality customer focused service which meets the needs of all users, Her greatest achievements can be summarised as: 1. Establishing and developing an FE College IAG Department2. Introducing monitoring / evaluating systems to enable data collection on the impact of all areas of the student service provision, thereby informing on retention, achievement & progression 3. Increasing the involvement of & commitment from external partners & stakeholders like Jobcentre Plus, Connexions, and in particular introducing the Next Step Adult Careers Service to the college4. Introducing and ensuring re-accreditation (every 3 years), of the Matrix Quality Standard for providing information, advice & guidance (IAG) services5. Contributing to College Staff Development by regularly Training Tutors & Support Teams She has managed & supervised many projects, written and contributed to the development of policies & procedures. led and developed cross – college strategies to engage, enrich and empower learners on a range of national and local agenda issues including, Employment & Worklessness, NEET (not in education, employment or training), Aim Higher, Higher Education & Progression Pathways and Widening Participation Initiatives.
