I have had the privilege to graduate from the electrical engineering program at Texas A&M and make my professional dream a reality by being a data engineer at Entrata. I am now attending The University of Chicago to pursue a MS in Applied Data Science. Ultimately, my goal is to bridge the gap between business and the tech industry by being a Technical Sales Engineer at Texas Instruments.Through constant learning and failing, I have achieved success and have aided in the company's success. I am always seeking opportunities to strengthen my problem solving abilities, while also learning how to optimize efficiency.I have also found success as a stand-up comedian, which is more related to engineering than initially meets the eye. The ability to construct an organized joke with a strong punchline relates to writing a sql query with a clear goal in mind of how to get the data desired. Continuous tweaking of the joke or the query after the first run results in better a performance. This is one example of the many that shows how success in comedy has resulted in my success as a data engineer and vice versa.Along with my knowledge, which I am constantly supplementing, I bring my work ethic, confidence, a smile, and maybe a joke or two to every aspect of my role for the success of the company and myself.
