• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain mall value and building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.• Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfilment also identifying mall trends.• Keeping accurate records pertaining to clients.• Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.• Monitoring the social media to full fill all customer needs.• Direct employees in construction and maintenance procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, as well as compliance with all applicable regulations and authorities having jurisdiction.• Provide leadership in development and implementation of maintenance practices .• Provide leadership, including planning, coaching, reviewing, and rewarding.• Ensure that Department purchasing follows the guidelines established by the Board.• Assist the Manager of Facilities in the development of long range maintenance / facility plans and budgets.• Direct the daily maintenance schedules and resources required to effectively and efficiently complete tasks in a timely fashionMaintain awareness of codes and regulations; converse with inspectors for regulatory agencies within the area of accountability.• Promote safe work practices in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, Board Policy and directives by Manager of Facilities.• Manage in the area of energy management and potential cost saving measures.• Responsible for implementation, operation and management of the preventative maintenance program.• Prepare reports as required by the Manager of Facilities. (IE. Budget, cost estimates, planning) Be knowledgeable about and supportive of Administrative Procedures and directives.• Be willing to engage in lifelong learning with respect to professional development, training, in service and courses of study.• Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Manager of Facilities.
