▶️ Challenge: Operationalize infrastructure of newly constructed $2B healthcare facility including mechanical and electrical systems, interior architecture and design, equipment and systems installations, fire and smoke boundary management, quality assurance, and facility accreditation to ensure occupancy by 3,000 employees. ▶️ Role: Maintained post-opening (2014) facilities engineering, safety, and compliance oversight with ~20 management-level direct reports and ~$4M operating budget. Hospital has ~500 beds and serves 2700 patients daily.▶️ Highlights:✔ Oversaw Health Authority Abu Dhabi inspection and new hospital certification passing all code evaluations and achieving award for LEED Gold Certifications. Passed Joint Commission International inspections with 94% score. Obtained ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 for hospital Operations. Attained best score, 99%, in the entire Emirate from Abu Dhabi civil for Fire drill.✔Served as Chairman of Space and Construction, and Operations committees for hospital.✔Oversaw safety, emergency management, business continuity, and risk assessment programs for the hospital with 5000+ employees.✔Instituted competency program for facility operations and maintenance staff by trade and function.✔Managed risk assessment program for medical equipment installation; designed elevated helipad plan and aerodrome manual for hospital; created emergency management and utility systems failure plan for 21 major integrated systems with 26, 000 components.
