When asked, I say I work in Insurance - I usually get a blank expression at that point. So I explain what that means, and I tend to get the following question..."So do you just sell?"I wish it were that simple! (Sometimes I even answer Yes!) The truth is I currently spend a considerable amount of time looking after most of our current partners and bringing on-board new partners. Building a strong relationship with existing partners and making sure the two organisations are happy to continue to work together providing a vital Income Protection Plus benefit to their members. I use my wealth of knowledge and experience to support the partners, keeping them updated with management information and regular meetings to discuss and plan business levels and strategies moving forward. Ensuring new partners are sourced will also continue to help with the success of PG Mutual. I enjoy all of the meetings and contacts and get a lot of satisfaction when a close and successful relationship is built. The idea that 'people buy from people' is an old and a trusted one.
