ZOCDOC, NEW YORK, NY, NOVEMBER 2014 TO PRESENTMOBILE QA LEAD / MOBILE ENGINEER IN TEST• Recruited as the sole QA Engineer for the company, received a promotion to Senior QA within one year, and grew the team to three onsite QA Engineers and 11 offshore QA members. • Spearhead all mobile releases on both Android and iOS and conducted manual and automated tests for web applications while leading both Android and iOS teams.• Utilize Cypress and Selenium WebDriver with Appium to perform functional, end to end, and regression testing against web-based and mobile applications using C#, Python, Typescript, and JavaScript.• Review and analyze business requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete, and testable.• Develop and execute extensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts as a means to verify new and existing software functionality.• Partner with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers to delineate acceptance criteria for stories.• Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate solutions for user-facing bugs and usability issues into sprint planning. • Interfaced with Mobile, Patient, Provider Calendar and Sponsored Results/Telehealth product teams.• Preside over QA activities for Zocdoc’s telehealth product, aka video visits, safeguarding a bug-free release of the video visit platform on iOS, Android, and web applications.• Design, establish, and perform daily regression test cases regarding desktop, mobile web, and native apps on iOS and Android. • Utilize robust knowledge and understanding of mobile capabilities on Android and iOS to download builds using Google Play Console / Test Flight.• Prepare and deliver outage emails as necessary and conduct postmortem meetings to determine and remediate causes.• Improve automation test coverage by using reusable methods and annotations such as SetUp.
