Directly Responsible to supervise manufacturing operations of HE plant and ensuring volume, quality and cost goals are met as per targets with focus on continuous improvement productivity, 5S and HSE. Ensure proper utilization of resources consisting of 110 workers on shift basis, regarding their best allocation and utilizing their skills efficiently for maximum production output.  Directly responsible for in-time production planning and man management.  In coordination with the plant engineering department planning of the preventive maintenance and follow up on pending jobs.  Supporting Plant Engineering team for repairs, maintenance, analysis of breakdowns and improvement projects. Maintaining Daily Production Charts, Skill Chart and Shift Summary Report. Study, analyze, develop and update work instructions/SOPs and ensure proper implementation on production floor. Implement and maintain Kaizen & 5S culture to increase productivity, quality, ergonomics and safety. Implementation of QCC (Quality Control Circle) in department to provide solutions to eliminate issues that are making hurdles in production. Monitor & minimize the Cost of Production Quality (COPQ) of HE production. Set production targets in order to maintain overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and man minutes per unit (MMPU). Take corrective actions emanating from customer complaints and in-house production issues through the Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis process. Take necessary initiatives to enhance production capacity through time & motion study and overall process improvement in order to achieve cost savings, overtime reduction and minimal material wastage.  Coordinate with production engineering & part development teams to undertake any product changes and new product development required by OEMs and aftermarket requirement. Handle customer requirements & complaints related to product quality.
